From November the 10th to the 13th, ten members from PROMETEO will be traveling to Brazil to participate to a seminary organized in collaboration with Business France in order to present the French offer in the field of meteorology.

The seminary will take place first in Brasilia and then in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to the official presentations and other networking sessions, several visits are planned. In Brasilia, participants will have the opportunity to visit the facilities of INMET (National Meteorological Service) and DECEA (Department of Airspace Control). In Rio de Janeiro, visits from the INEA (Ministry of Environment) and C.O.R. (Operational Center of Rio) are also on the program.

This seminary will be the opportunity for PROMETEO’s members to present their offer, meet up with local stakeholders and get a clear vision of current development and modernization projects in the field of brazilian meteorology. A step in the right direction in terms of exporting French know-how and techniques all over the world.
