OVERVIEW

History

Since 1984, PULSONIC has specialized in the design and development of solutions for meteorological observation on the ground as well as for the hydrological monitoring of waterways.

Activities and fields of application

The solutions offered by PULSONIC are recognized worldwide for their robustness and their ability to be easily deployed, even in the most remote areas and in the most difficult climatic conditions.

PULSONIC stations comply with the recommendations of the World Meteorological Organization and the International Civil Aviation Organization. This is why they are used by many meteorological and hydrological services around the world. The Météo France observation network also has more than a thousand PULSONIC stations.

In addition, PULSONIC has developed software solutions capable of simultaneously managing the reception of data from the stations, as well as the control and maintenance of more than a thousand stations. PULSONIC also offers services for the installation, user training and maintenance of meteorological equipment, in order to ensure quality support for an efficient network!

References

Since 1984 we have worked in the implementation of many networks of automatic weather stations around the world, mainly in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Middle East, Asia…

We offer a wide range of services at all stages of your projects (definition of needs, installation, commissioning, training, calibration, maintenance). We can accompany you all over the world.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

WEATHER STATIONS

PULSONIC has a wide range of autonomous meteorological stations in terms of energy and communication.
These stations have been developed to be installed in isolated areas and in hostile climates (high temperatures, presence of humidity, sand, insects or animals).
All the cables are protected in the supports or in sheaths and the solar panels are integrated in the covers in order to protect them from theft.
• Synoptic stations with or without observer station
• Climatological stations
• Agrometeorological stations
• Rainfall stations
• Weather station for aerodromes

HYDROLOGICAL STATIONS

PULSONIC offers hydrological stations adapted to harsh environments and equipped with a surface or submerged sensor for monitoring water levels. The stations are energy self-sufficient and require very little maintenance.

SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

PULSONIC offers software solutions adapted to the needs of meteorological agencies. These software allow:
• Remote management of weather station networks
• Collection of meteorological data
• Fixed weather data
• Visualization of meteorological data
• Coding of meteorological messages (BUFR SYNOP, METAR, SPECI…)
• Sharing weather data

SERVICE AND SUPPORT

PULSONIC has its own in-house maintenance department, capable of ensuring the commissioning and maintenance on site or in the workshop of the equipment supplied. The company has participated in setting up numerous networks of meteorological stations in France and abroad, such as Benin, Togo and Madagascar.

To facilitate the maintenance of equipment sometimes installed on remote sites, weather stations regularly send technical information in order to know the status of the network remotely. In addition, a test mode integrated into the equipment allows a quick and simple diagnosis of the problems encountered.

The repair of equipment is facilitated by the exchange of modules or sensors. The sensors developed by PULSONIC are of the digital “Plug & Play” type with integrated signature, which facilitates their exchange in the field. Sensors from many manufacturers can also be connected to the central unit of PULSONIC stations.

PULSONIC’s after-sales service offers annual maintenance contracts as well as preventive maintenance visits which may include equipment checks and sensor calibration.

TRAINING

PULSONIC offers training cycles adapted to the technical knowledge of trainees, provided in the factory or on site. The purpose of these training courses is to cover all aspects of using the solutions offered by PULSONIC, from installation to maintenance, including calibration, configuration and use of software solutions.
